Es war einmal ein alter Mann, der jeden Morgen

Einen Spaziergang am Meeresstrand machte

Eines Tages sah er einen Junge

Der vorsichtig etwas aufhob und ins Meer warf

Er rief: «Guten Morgen Junge!

Was machst du da?»

Und der Junge antwortete: «Ich werfe Seesterne zurück ins Meer

Es ist Ebbe.

Die Sonne brennt herunter

Und wenn ich das nicht tue, dann sterben sie.»

Der alte Mann sagte: «Junge ist dir eigentlich klar

Dass der Strand kilometerlang ist?

Und überall liegen Seesterne.

Die kannst du

Unmöglich alle retten.

Das macht doch keinen Sinn.»

Der Junge blickte auf den Seestern in seiner Hand

Warf ihn in die rettenden Wellen und antwortete:

«Aber für diesen Einen hier macht es Sinn.»

Alles wird gut, uns fehlt nur der Mut

Alles im Lot, es ist noch Platz im Rettungsboot

Werf einen Stein ins Wasser und ist er noch so klein

Kannst du dir sicher sein

Zieht er trotzdem große Kreise, dieser kleine Stein

Das wird immer so sein

Wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt, manchmal muss man was riskieren

Was haben wir zu verlieren?

Nichts bewegt sich und nichts regt sich, wenn wir nur spekulieren

Und nichts tun als diskutieren

Alles wird gut, uns fehlt nur der Mut

Wir können eh nichts ändern, das wollen sie dir erzählen

Und ich mit Lügen quälen

Doch könntest du Geschichte schreiben, was würdest du wählen?

Könnte man auf dich zählen?

Solang ein Funke Hoffnung brennt, ist es viel zu früh um Aufzustecken

Komm lass uns Tote wecken

Wenn wir über Schatten springen, was kann uns da denn noch erschrecken?
