Glanz lieblich erbracht

Vom Hauch der Sonne in ihrer vollen Pracht

Legt sich schützend über jedes Geschöpf

Rasch verwischt der Horizont —

Ein Loch an vorderster Front

Licht mit Staub bedeckt und gänzlich verdreckt

Doch brausend schließt das Wolkenkleid

Vernimmt man dunkle Boten

In solch unbeholfner Zeit

Das Licht still weicht!

Vier Boten reißen tiefe Kerben

Versorgen sie mit Salz

Stehen auf ihren schwarzen

Scherben, doch falls wir

Das mit dem Leben enger sehn

Hätte man uns doch belohnt oder verschont?

Es kreist das Unheil übers Meer

Frisst Instanzen, jedes Heer

Der Neubeginn wird prophezeit
