Appena fui al mondo mi ritrovai

In un grattacielo più alto che mai

Mi misi in fila per salire lassù

E l’ascensore partì ed ero con gli altri

Tra i bimbi di un colore che è diverso dal mio

Arrivai al primo piano, non lo so come fu

Mi accorsi che invidiavano la mia gioventù

Nell’ascensore entrò un uomo e sparò

E i miei primi sogni lui già me li rubò

In cima al grattacielo tutto meglio è

Il mondo ci appartiene, siam figli suoi

Qui non c’ha posto chi ride di noi

Ed un bel giorno vidi entrar lei

Di quel suo sorriso io mi innamorai

Legati insieme con due anelli o un destino a metà

Ancora oggi io continuo a star su

E i piani che ho salito non li conto più

Son stati belli o brutti, lo rifarei

Il viaggio organizzato per noi
