To the verge of the forest dark and deep

A sparkle of light, so beautiful a sight

Beneath the oak, florins fair and bright

«In search of death, a treasure we have found

Our happening a blessing and a curse rolled into one

Our prayers are answered, the voiceless god doth act

For decades I have begged him to release me from the grips of total poverty»

But each of them so ignorant to the horror that impends

So consumed with gluttony, the three begin to gorge

Forgetting soon the memory of the brotherhood they had forged

Locked in greed’s eternal embrace

Amongst the evergreen, away from the eyes of the world

Ready to commit complete and utter sin

To lay upon, the boundless sea of gold

«A single coin performs to me a rhapsody»

Each note a blessing, a symbol of pure wealth

Guided by imperative that was beyond control and comprehension
