This is my serenade to the ones I love

My mouth can’t say the words

I hope you know who you are

So hard to express my emotions to you

I’ve known you for so long, still I can’t say

I need you- I love you

I’m thankful- thank you

This is the serenade, I cannot sing

My pride is my cage, I’m all locked up

The words that come out are not what I mean
