And finds something truly profound

She knows the road might be closed for long

But time is of no concern

My crimes were victimless

Here in my Sunday best

Another day of rest

Another damage to ignore

Halfway through the colonnades we stopped

The hesitation had always been there

Wonders came and I watched them go again

Leaving me naked and cold

And it’s not too late to leave

But I’ll stay for another round

Here at the graveyard scene

And cast the wishes all aside

This ride goes aimlessly

And it surprises me how I tend to care less over time
