Zodiac was a Soviet and Latvian musical group founded in 1980. The band specialized in instrumental synth and disco music. Zodiac was one of the first Soviet bands to perform electronic music, making them a pioneer in this genre. Among their most famous albums are "Disco Alliance" and "Music in the Universe" which received acclaim both within the USSR and abroad. The band made a significant contribution to the popularization of electronic music in the Soviet Union, achieving cult status in their time.
