Жан-Филипп Рамо (1683–1764) was a French composer and music theorist, one of the leading figures of the Baroque era. Hailing from Dijon, he became known for his operas, such as "Галантные Индии" and "Кастор и Поллукс" , as well as instrumental works, including harpsichord suites.
