Zarah Leander
Zarah Leander (real name Сара Стина Хедберг ) was a Swedish actress and singer born in 1907. She rose to fame through her work in Germany, where she became one of the most popular performers in the pop music genre. Zarah Leander collaborated with leading film studios and music labels of the time, performing songs that became classics. Among her most famous compositions are "Ich weiß, es wird einmal ein Wunder gescheh'n" and "Nur nicht aus Liebe weinen" I'm not a little girl). Her deep contralto voice and dramatic delivery left a significant mark on the history of European pop music.
