Ингви Мальмстин is a Swedish-American virtuoso guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer born in 1963. He became one of the founders of neoclassical metal, founding his band Rising Force in 1982. His album "Rising Force" received a Grammy nomination, and the musician was ranked ninth on Time list of "The 10 Greatest Guitarists."
