Яна Кей is a Latvian singer, composer, and songwriter, born April 20, 1970. Her work spans the genres of electronica, pop, and dance. Яна Кей represented Latvia at the Евровидение 2003 Contest as part of the trio FLY with the song "Hello from Mars" She is also known for her performance of the song "Медведица" from the soundtrack to the film "Book Thieves," recorded with Ильёй Лагутенко and the band Мумий Тролль . Яна Кей was one of the first Russian-language performers whose tracks were played on BBC Radio 1 and made a significant contribution to the development of vocal styles in the genres of drum'n'bass and 2-step garage.
