Wolfmother is an Australian rock band formed in 2000 in Erskineville, Sydney. The band performs hard rock with elements of psychedelia and stoner rock, inspired by the music of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The band gained worldwide recognition thanks to their debut album "Wolfmother" , released in 2005. One of its most successful singles was "Woman" which earned the band a Грэмми Award for Best Hard Rock Performance. Wolfmother has significantly contributed to the revival of interest in classic hard rock, remaining one of the most recognizable bands in the genre.
