Wardruna is a Norwegian neofolk band founded in 2003 by Einar "Kvitravn" Selvik, along with Gaahl and Lindy Fae Hella. The band is known for its four full-length albums, the first three of which are devoted to Norse mythology and the Elder Futhark runes. The latest album draws inspiration from Odin's sayings in Völuspá and other Old Norse texts. Wardruna has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Norse mythology through music, becoming a key band in the neofolk genre.
