
Владимир Трошин (1926–2008) was a Soviet and Russian singer, theater and film actor, and People's Artist of the RSFSR. Born in the USSR, he became known as one of the leading figures of Russian pop music. Трошин was the first performer of the legendary song "Подмосковные вечера" which became a symbol of Soviet musical culture. During his career, he received numerous awards, including the second-degree Stalin Prize. In addition to his musical career, Трошин actively performed on the stage and acted in films. His contribution to the development of Russian pop music remains significant to this day.
