Владимир Шахрин is a Soviet and Russian rock musician, born on June 22, 1959. He is the founder and longtime leader of the band «Чайф» , one of the most renowned in the Russian rock genre. Formed in Yekaterinburg, the band gained popularity thanks to hits such as "Аргентина — Ямайка 5:0" and "Оранжевое настроение" Владимир Шахрин is also known as a songwriter and guitarist, whose lyrics often reflect social and personal themes. His contribution to the development of Russian rock has been recognized, including the title of Honorary Citizen of Yekaterinburg.
