ВИА «Самоцветы» is a Soviet and Russian vocal and instrumental ensemble founded in 1971. The group's founder and permanent leader is People's Artist of Russia Юрий Маликов , father of the renowned musician Дмитрия Маликова . The ensemble gained popularity thanks to such hits as " Увезу тебя в тундру ," " Мой адрес - Советский Союз ," " Вся жизнь впереди " and " Всё, что в жизни есть у меня ." ВИА «Самоцветы» made a significant contribution to the development of Soviet and Russian pop music, remaining one of the most recognizable groups of its time.
