Vashti Bunyan is a British singer and songwriter born in 1945. In 1970, she released her debut album "Just Another Diamond Day" which was initially released in limited quantities. Disappointed by the lack of success, Vashti left the music industry. However, in 2000, the album was reissued to acclaim, inspiring her to return to music after a 30-year hiatus. Her work has had a significant influence on the development of the folk genre, serving as a role model for many contemporary artists.
