The Troggs were a British rock band formed in Andover, England, in 1964. Known for their garage rock and proto-punk sound, they gained international fame with their hit single "Wild Thing", which became an anthem of the 1960s. Other notable tracks include "Love Is All Around", which enjoyed renewed popularity when covered by Wet Wet Wet in the 1990s. The band was led by vocalist Reg Presley, whose distinctive voice became a hallmark of their music. The Troggs are often credited with influencing later punk and alternative rock bands, leaving a lasting legacy in the genre.
