Trey Lorenz (born Лойд Лоренс Смит ) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer, born January 19, 1969, in Florence, South Carolina. He is best known for his duet with Мэрайей Кэри on a cover of "I'll Be There" which topped US Billboard Hot 100 and R&B singles charts in 1992. This success earned them a Грэмми Award nomination for Best R&B Performance: Duo or Group with Vocal. In 2009, they performed the song again at the memorial service for Майклом Джексоном .
