Tracy Lawrence is an American country singer, songwriter, and music producer born on January 27, 1968, in Atlanta, Texas, and raised in Foreman, Arkansas. He began performing at the age of 15 and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1990 to pursue a career in country music. Signed to Atlantic Records in 1991, he debuted with the album "Sticks and Stones". Throughout the 1990s, he released five more studio albums, a live album, and a compilation under the label. After Atlantic's country division closed in 2001, he continued recording with Warner Bros.. Tracy Lawrence is celebrated for his contributions to the country genre, including hits like "Time Marches On" and "Alibis".
