To/Die/For was a Finnish gothic metal band founded in 1996 under the name Mary-Ann . In 1999, the band changed its name to To/Die/For . The band gained recognition for its dark sound and melodic compositions. Their debut album under the new name, "All Eternity" was released in 2000 and cemented their position in the gothic metal scene. Among their best-known songs are "In the Heat of the Night" and "Hollow Heart" The band ended its activity in June 2016, leaving a significant contribution to the development of the gothic metal genre.
