Tim O'Brien is an American country musician born on March 16, 1954. Known for his versatility, he plays guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, bouzouki, and mandocello. Over his career, Tim O'Brien has released more than ten studio albums and achieved notable success with the duet "Battle Hymn of Love", performed alongside Kathy Mattea, which reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 1990. In November 2013, he was inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame, solidifying his impact on the genre.
