
Tim Hardin (James Timothy Hardin) was an American folk musician and composer born on December 23, 1941, in the United States. His work combined poetic folk with elements of blues. Tim Hardin is best known for his songs "If I Were a Carpenter" and "Reason to Believe" which have become classics of the genre. In 1969, he performed at the legendary Вудсток festival, cementing his status in musical history. His contribution to the development of folk music remains significant, despite his early death in 1980.
