Thug Life was an American rap group formed in 1993 by Tupac Shakur. The group included Big Syke , Macadoshis , Rated R and Mopreme Shakur , Tupac's cousin. The group released a single album "Thug Life" in 1994, before disbanding due to the founder's imprisonment. Tupac later attempted to reunite the group, inviting members to Death Row Records , but to no avail. The most successful member was Big Syke , who released the compilation album "Thug Law" featuring Outlawz . Thug Life left a significant mark on hip-hop history, embodying the spirit of 1990s street life.
