The Pharcyde is a Los Angeles-based alternative hip-hop group formed in 1989. The original lineup included Imani, Slimkid3, Bootie Brown, and Fatlip, with early production support from DJ Mark Luv, J-Swift, and later J Dilla. They are best known for their hits "Drop", "Passin’ Me By", and "Runnin’", as well as their critically acclaimed debut album "Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde".
