The Neighbourhood is an American alternative rock band formed in 2011 in Thousand Oaks, California. The group consists of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott, and drummer Brandon Fried. Known for their moody and atmospheric sound, they gained widespread recognition with their 2013 hit single "Sweater Weather", which topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Their debut album, "I Love You.", solidified their place in the indie music scene. Over the years, the band released several acclaimed projects, including "Wiped Out!" and "The Neighbourhood", before going on hiatus in 2022.
