The Cinematics were a Scottish alternative rock band formed in 2003 in Glasgow, Scotland. The group consisted of Scott Rinning, Ramsey Miller, Adam Goemans, and Ross Bonney, with Larry Reid joining in 2008. They released two albums, "A Strange Education" and "Love and Terror", as well as the "Silent Scream EP". Despite their promising start, the band disbanded in 2011 during the recording of their third album. Known for their melancholic yet melodic sound, The Cinematics left a mark on the alternative rock scene with their introspective lyrics and atmospheric compositions.
