Testament is an American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California, formed in 1983. Guitarist Эрик Питерсон remains a permanent member of the band, while vocalist Чак Билли joined in 1986 before recording their debut album The Legacy . Over the course of their career, the band has released numerous albums, including seminal works such as Practice What You Preach and The New Order . Testament has had a significant influence on the development of thrash metal, remaining one of the genre's most respected bands.
