Tempa T is a British grime MC from East London, born in 1984. Known for his energetic delivery and aggressive lyrics, he gained prominence with his 2009 single "Next Hype", which became an anthem of the UK underground scene. A former member of the East London-based grime crew Slew Dem, he also featured on Chase & Status's track "Hypest Hype". In 2015, Tempa T released the single "Shell", produced by So Real Sounds, which topped the UK Grime Chart Show on BBC Radio 1Xtra for eight weeks. His contributions have solidified his place in the grime genre.
