Tegan and Sara is a Canadian band formed in 1995 by twin sisters Тиган Рэйн Куин and Сарой Кирстен Куин . The band works in the indie pop, indie rock, and new wave genres. Both members play guitar and keyboards and are also songwriters. Tegan and Sara have released several successful albums, including "The Con" and "Heartthrob" the latter of which brought them international recognition. Their single "Closer" became a hit and cemented their position in the music scene. The band has made a significant contribution to the development of indie music, combining melody with sincere lyrics.
