Тарзан gained his greatest popularity as a stripper, becoming a cult figure in the former Soviet Union. His personal life also attracted public attention, particularly through his marriage to singer Наташей Королёвой , who left composer Игоря Николаева for him. Тарзан contributed to the popularization of striptease as a performing art form in Russia.
