Sunrise Avenue was a Finnish rock band formed in 2002. The five-piece performed pop rock and rock. The band gained popularity thanks to the single "Fairytale Gone Bad" which topped charts in several countries and became their signature song. Over the course of their 20-year career Sunrise Avenue released several successful albums and earned recognition both in Finland and abroad. The band ended its activities in 2022, leaving a significant mark on the pop rock genre.
