SUGIZO is a Japanese musician, songwriter, composer, and record producer, born in 1969. He is best known as the lead guitarist and violinist for the rock band Luna Sea , with whom he began collaborating in 1989. In addition to his work with the band, SUGIZO has an active solo career, experimenting with electronica and J-pop. His work includes collaborations with various artists and participation in charity projects. SUGIZO has made a significant contribution to the development of Japanese rock music and has also expanded the genre's boundaries through his experiments with electronic sounds.
