Steve Wynn (born February 21, 1960) is an American singer, musician, and songwriter. He rose to prominence as the frontman of the Los Angeles-based band The Dream Syndicate , which existed from 1981 to 1989. After the band's disbandment Steve Wynn launched a successful solo career, releasing several albums before reforming The Dream Syndicate in 2012. His work spans the genres of foreign rock, indie, and pop music. Steve Wynn has made a significant contribution to the development of indie rock while remaining an influential figure in the music scene.
