Steve Walsh is an American singer, musician, and songwriter born on June 15, 1951. He is best known as a longtime member of the progressive rock band Kansas . His vocals are featured on the band's hits "Carry On Wayward Son" "Dust in the Wind" "Point of Know Return" and "All I Wanted" the last two of which he co-wrote. Steve Walsh left Kansas in 2014, having left a significant mark on the genres of progressive rock, jazz, and hard rock.
