Steve Ouimette is an American rock guitarist born in 1968. Known for his work in video game music, he gained recognition for his electrifying cover of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia", featured in the game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. In this rendition, violin parts were reimagined as electric guitar solos performed by Ouimette, Ed DeGenaro, and Jeff Tyson. Beyond this iconic track, Ouimette contributed seven additional songs to the game and recorded a version of the Christmas classic "We Three Kings", released as downloadable content. His innovative approach has left a mark on hard rock and video game music.
