Stephen Trask is an American musician and composer born in 1966. A graduate of Wesleyan University, he gained prominence as the musical director and member of the house band at the New York club Squeezebox, where he performed alongside artists like Debbie Harry, Lene Lovich, and Joey Ramone. Trask is best known for composing the music and lyrics for the cult musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", which later became a successful film. His work has significantly influenced the genre of musical theater and film soundtracks.
