Soyou , real name Кан Джи Хён , is a South Korean singer born in 1992. She is known for her contributions to the K-pop genre and soundtracks. Formerly a member of the popular girl group SISTAR , Soyou launched a solo career after the group's disbandment in 2017. Her solo hits, such as "Some" (featuring Junggigo ), have become national hits, topping charts. Soyou also actively collaborates with other artists and contributes to soundtracks for Korean dramas. Her contribution to K-pop includes popularizing the genre and creating memorable melodies.
