Skinshape , real name William Dorey , is a British musician, singer, and multi-instrumentalist from London, born June 20, 1990. His work spans the genres of funk, indie, soul, reggae, psychedelic rock, afrobeat, and folk. In addition to his solo project Skinshape , he was the bassist for the band Palace . The musician founded his own label Horus Records , which specializes in reissues of Jamaican reggae compositions from the 1960s-80s. Among his best-known tracks are "I Didn't Know" and "Oracolo" Skinshape made a significant contribution to the development of the independent scene, combining retro sounds with modern elements.
