Skid Row is an American rock band formed in 1986, known for their glam metal style. Originating from the United States, the band gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits like "18 and Life", "I Remember You", and "Youth Gone Wild". Their self-titled debut album and its follow-up, "Slave to the Grind", achieved significant commercial success, with the latter becoming the first heavy metal album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite disbanding in 1996, Skid Row reunited in 1999 and continues to perform, leaving a lasting impact on the glam metal genre.
