Simply Red is a British pop and soul band formed in 1985. The group, led by frontman Mick Hucknall, is known for its distinctive sound and the fiery red hair of its lead singer, which inspired the band's name. Over their career, Simply Red released eleven studio albums and sold over 50 million records worldwide. Their hits include classics like "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now". Though the band initially disbanded in 2010, they later reunited and continued to contribute to the pop and soul genres with their signature style. Their last album, "Big Love", was released in May 2015.
