Shokran is a Russian progressive metal and djent band. Founded in 2012 by guitarist Дмитрием Демьяненко as a solo project, the band later evolved into a full-fledged ensemble. The band is known for complex guitar parts, powerful vocals, and Eastern musical motifs. Among their most popular albums are "Exodus" and "Ethereal" which received acclaim both in Russia and abroad. Shokran has made a significant contribution to the development of progressive metal, combining technical mastery with a unique sound.
