Shivaree was an American alternative rock band formed in 1997. The group consisted of Ambrosia Parsley, Danny McGough, and Duke McVinnie. Over their decade-long career, they released four albums and sold approximately 500,000 copies. Their most famous song, "Goodnight Moon", released in 1999, gained widespread recognition after being featured in the TV series Dawson's Creek, the cult film Kill Bill: Vol. 2, and the movie Silver Linings Playbook. It also appeared in the closing credits of the French dramedy Monique. Shivaree left a lasting mark on the alternative rock genre with their unique sound.
