The older brother of rock musician Егора Летова , Сергей Летов plays various wind instruments, including saxophones, bass clarinet, flutes, ethnic woodwinds, and modern MIDI controllers such as Akai EWI USB , Roland Aerophone Pro , and Yamaha WX-5 . His work spans the genres of jazz, Russian rock, and alternative music. Сергей Летов has made a significant contribution to the development of improvised music in Russia.
