Selena Y Los Dinos was a Tejano band from Texas, USA, fronted by Selena, born in 1971. Known for their contributions to the Tejano genre, the group gained prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. They released several successful albums under EMI Latin, including "Entre a Mi Mundo", which featured the hit song "Como La Flor". Selena and the band won numerous awards, including Grammy recognition for Best Mexican-American Album. Their music played a pivotal role in popularizing Tejano music internationally.
