Seether is a South African rock band formed in May 1999. Originally known as Saron Gas, the group adopted its current name in 2002. Their major-label debut album, Disclaimer, featured the breakout single "Fine Again", which reached #1 on the US Active Rock chart. In 2004, the band achieved mainstream success with the single "Broken", peaking at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Over the years, Seether has topped the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with hits like "Remedy", "Fake It", "Country Song", and "Words as Weapons". Currently signed to Wind-up Records, the band remains a significant force in alternative rock.
