Savage , real name Roberto Zannezzi, is an Italian singer, composer, and lyricist born on November 28, 1956. He rose to prominence as one of the leading figures in the Italo disco genre in the 1980s. Under the pseudonym Savage , he released hits such as "Don't Cry Tonight" and "Only You" which have become dance music classics. In addition to his solo career, he also worked as a producer under the name Robyx , collaborating with other artists. His contributions to the development of Italo disco have made him a cult figure in the genre.
