Sam Phillips (also known as Сэм Филлипс ) is an American singer-songwriter born on January 28, 1962. She works in the pop, alternative, and original songwriting genres. Her best-known albums include the critically acclaimed "Martinis & Bikinis" (1994) and "Fan Dance" (2001). Sam Phillips is also known as the composer of musical scores for popular television series, including "Gilmore Girls" , "Bunheads" , and "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" . Her work has made a significant contribution to the development of alternative and original music.
