Her debut album, The Power of Love , released on March 24, 2014, went straight to number one on the UK UK Albums Chart . Before appearing on the show Sam Bailey worked as a prison guard in a men's prison. Her work spans pop, rock, and reggae, and her contribution to British popular music remains significant.
