Russian Circles is an American instrumental rock metal band from Chicago, formed in 2004. The three-piece band is known for its powerful live performances. Early in their career, Russian Circles toured with bands such as Boris , Isis , Red Sparowes , Minus the Bear , and Pelican . They also performed at major music festivals, including South by Southwest in 2006 and Bonnaroo in 2009. The band made significant contributions to the development of instrumental rock, combining complex musical structures with emotional depth.
